The system we run BackupExec 2010 on is Windows Server 2008 64Bit. I imagine because of the volume of data that is thrown at the NAS. Image dumps tend to fail more consistently. Sometimes you think “This should be pretty simple” and “I know how Backup Exec works, I’ve configured it a dozen or so times in the past”, but you know what? You’re wrong!Īdding a tape library really makes a big difference compared to how you would normally configure a 1 tape drive system.
